The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins Extendicare on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the age 96 years. Predeceased by her husband Albert (1969). Dear mother of Robert (Lisette) and Richard. Grandmother of Daniel, Chantal, Denis, Lynn, Suzanne, Andre, Christine, Lisa, Andre L., Renee, Michel, Jimmy and great grandmother of 17 and great great grandmother of 4. Dear sister of Gisele, Paul, Andree and Denise. Predeceased by her parents Philippe & Anna Mireault, her children Monique (1987), Pierrette (2015), Marcelle (1999), her siblings Roger, Mireille, Jacques, Jeannette, Maurice, Gaetan and Charles and many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Madeleine was employed at the Timmins Extendicare as a Health Care Aid for 16 years. She was a longtime Volunteer with La Ronde. She received the Governors General Award for her work with St John's Ambulance and she volunteered for many years with Extendicare. The family would like to thank the staff at the Extendicare on the Mattagami Unit especially Mona, Tracy and Karen and Dr. Di Tullio for their care and compassion.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday March 11, 2017 from the Miron-Wilson Home Chapel (Deacon Michel Néron officiating). A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge.
