PICHETTE, JACQUES “JACK” (1941-2017) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jacques Pichette on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at age 75 years young. Jack is survived by his wife Denise Marin and was pre-deceased by his first wife Carole in 2005. Dear father of Angèle (Wayne), Jack, Denny, Julie (James), Sylvie (David), Marc (Christine) and René (Cheryl). He leaves behind 11 grandchildren; Justin (Kate-Lynn), Ben, Jason (Ashley), Kyle (Stephanie), Brett (Celina), Hunter, Zoe, Gabby, Avah, Sam and Mélodie as well his great-grandchildren Logan and Adele. Jack was a beloved brother to Claude and Maurice (Diane) and will be missed by all his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Angèle and Laurier Pichette. Jack was an avid fisherman with a love of the outdoors and a greater love of family. He possessed a fun loving spirit; all who knew Jack will miss his trademark sense of humour. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, February 23, 2017 in the Chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home. (Rev. Dierdre Roach officiating). A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Interment Tisdale Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
