VOYER, Gérard (1952-2017)
C’est avec grande tristesse que la famille annonce son décès à l’Hôpital de Timmins et du District, le vendredi 11 août 2017, à l’âge de 64 ans. Époux bien-aimé de 44 ans de Nicole Voyer (née Therrien). Cher père de Julie Voyer-Tremblay (Brian) de Timmins. Pépère adoré de Jenna et Brendan. Frère de Cécilia Bernier (Guy) de Pointe-Lebel, QC. Il sera manqué par ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs Dorothée Therrien, Gaston Therrien (Manon Mailhot), Alain Therrien (Manon Bourassa), Linda Therrien (Claude Rioux), Martin Therrien (Mélanie Archambault) et Denise Voyer et par plusieurs neveux et nièces. Prédécédé par ses parents, Joseph Voyer et Rosa (née Lavoie), sa sœur Mariette Voyer et ses frères Jean-Guy, Jean-Paul, Benoit et Jean-Claude Voyer. Gérard était membre des Chevaliers de Colomb. Dans sa jeunesse, Il adorait chasser avec ses amis et sa famille et il aimait beaucoup le hockey. La messe commémoratif aura lieu le mardi, 15 août 2017 à 11h00 à l’église St-Joseph. Les dons commémoratifs à la fondation des maladies du cœur seront grandement appréciés. The family announces with sorrw his death at the Timmins and District Hospital on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the age of 64 years. Loving husband of 44 years to Nicole Voyer (née Therrien). Dear father of Julie Voyer-Tremblay (Brian) of Timmins. Loving Pépère of Jenna and Brendan. Brother of Cécilia Bernier (Guy) of Pointe-Lebel, QC. He will be missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law Dorothée Therrien, Gaston Therrien (Manon Mailhot), Alain Therrien (Manon Bourassa), Linda Therrien (Claude Rioux), Martin Therrien (Mélanie Archambault) and Denise Voyer and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Joseph Voyer and Rosa (née Lavoie), his sister Mariette Voyer and his brothers Jean-Guy, Jean-Paul, Benoit and Jean-Claude Voyer. Gérard was a member of the Knioghts of Columbus. In his earlier years, he loved hunting with his friends and family and also enjoyed hockey. A memorial mass will be held at St-Joseph’s Church on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 11:00 am. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
