The family announces with sorrow his death at the Timmins and District Hospital on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Marie-Claire Villars. Loving father of Marcel Villars (Diane), Lucille Riopelle (Raymond), Ernest Villars (Sharon), Denis Villars (Rose), Donald Villars (Patricia), Lucien Villars, Louise Forget (Gaston), Lorraine Belair (Gilles) and Nicole Godda (Robin). Dear friend of Reine St-Louis. Predeceased by his parents Auguste and Augustine Villars, all of his siblings, his daughter Claudette Villars, and his sons André Jr. Villars and Real Villars. Special thank you to Dr. Nicholas Kenya-Fostner, the many nurses, Lisa and the geriatric team for all your kind and compassionate care. Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from the Chapel of the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be greatly appreciated.
