ROY, FLORIAN (1934-2018) The family announces with sorrow his death at the Timmins and District Hospital on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at age 83 years. Pre-deceased by his wife Huguette (nee Landry) in 2010. He is survived by his sons Donald of Iroquois Falls, Jean-Guy of Sarnia and Jacques of Timmins. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren as well as his siblings Rene Roy, Paulo Roy and Rita Roy all of Kapuskasing. Pre-deceased by his sons Gerald (January 2018), Robert (1999) and Denis (1993). A joint memorial service for Florian and his son Gerald will be held in the spring of 2018 (to be announced) in the Miron-Wilson Funeral Chapel with interment of their ashes to follow at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements in care of the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre.
