TAILLEFER, Gerald
1928-2018
The family announces with great sorrow his death at home on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by his common-law wife Mignonne Roy in 2006. He will be missed by his partner Marguerite Renaud (nee Forget). Loving father of Robert Taillefer (Sylvie Veillette) of Timmins, Carole Taillefer-Hollos (Mike) of Timmins, Danielle Taillefer (Francis Audet) of Amos, QC, Lisa Paré of Gatineau, QC and Jackie Kruse (Phil Watson) of Thunder Bay, ON. He will be missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Noé and Théodora Taillefer, by his sisters Cecile Dubuc, Laurette Labelle, Eva St-Jean, Yvette Paradis, Alice Gervais, Dora Dicaire and Aurore Desormeaux and by his brothers Roger, Albert, Edgar and Maurice Taillefer. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Deacon Michel Neron officiating). Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 2:45pm at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
